Hacienda On The Lake

Hacienda On The Lake is a true hidden gem! My wife and I recently had dinner here, and we were blown away by the amazing food, drinks, and service. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with a beautiful view of the lake. The margaritas were delicious, and the food was fresh and flavorful. We especially enjoyed the chicken tortilla soup and flan. The manager, Miguel, and our server Mauricio, were attentive and friendly. They made us feel welcome and ensured that we had everything we needed. Miguel clearly cares about his customers and runs a fantastic restaurant. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience at Hacienda On The Lake. We highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a delicious and memorable meal.

This place is the largest Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. It literally feels like it goes on and on! Not a bad thing, just an observation. They didn’t ask, they just sat us outside lakeside. Which I liked, but it was pretty cold. Yes they had gas heaters heating one side of you. But the other side was pretty cold and the wife was freezing. There was another couple near us with 2 young children in t shirts complaining how cold they were. I felt they should have offered indoor or outdoor. Ok, well the good was really good! I had the seafood chimichanga and it was filled with real sized shrimp and other delights. Wife had chili relleno and she said it was quite good. Oh, the chips. They were not my favorite. They are the thicker crunchier type chips while I prefer the thinner flakier type. Minor thing but I thought I’d mention it. I had beer but the wife said the chocolate martini was really really good. Overall good, service and atmosphere would have been 5 stars if they’d have asked indoor outdoor and if we had chosen indoor. Pricing was pretty high for Mexican, but it’s a beach city in SoCal so that’s just how it is.

We were able to sit by the lake and enjoy a nice meal with fresh breeze. The restaurant was not busy as we started our meal at 1pm. The service was not fast. Each course drinks with salsa and chips, appetizers, main course all came very long apart. So be sure to plan ample time for your meal. The food was very delicious and with the view. It was a great place to spend time with friends.

Beautiful spot on MV Lake, good service, and food presentation is nice but my chile verde was a little bland, as was my nephew's carnitas. Prices are higher than average but understandable considering the overhead of the location. A nice place for a family gathering or a date, but don't expect to be served top-notch Mexican cuisine.

Beautiful views by the water. Lots of seating. The staff were kind and attentive. It’s not cheap but you pay for the atmosphere and views. The tacos were good though not very seasoned in my view.

I had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Mexican restaurant in California, and it was an absolute delight! I ordered the fajitas, and they were incredible fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The sizzling presentation was as impressive as the taste, with tender meat, crisp vegetables, and perfectly seasoned spices. The service was equally amazing. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. It’s clear they genuinely care about creating a great dining experience. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food with top-notch service, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend.
